SiteProofThe Website Sheriff Back to SiteProof

Privacy and report access

SiteProof is an Adam Designs product. It inspects one public webpage, records automated findings, and makes the results available through a private report link.

Public pages you are allowed to inspect

Submit only public pages you own or are authorized to inspect. The inspector does not sign into accounts, submit forms, or complete purchases. Do not submit credentials or private access links.

Desktop and phone screenshots can include any information visible on the public page. The report covers the completed automated checks and their stated limits; it does not certify accessibility or guarantee business results.

What SiteProof stores

We store your submitted website URL, email address, report, screenshots, inspection status, and inspection dates to produce and deliver the inspection. Your email identifies the order and can prefill Stripe checkout. Report delivery is through the private link; email delivery is not included.

A hashed network address and daily usage count help enforce inspection limits. The hash is a value derived from the address. These limit records expire after two days and are removed by scheduled cleanup.

30-day report retention

Your URL, email, report, and screenshots are retained for 30 days from the inspection request. Report access expires at that point; the next daily cleanup removes the stored inspection data. Download your paid report before it expires if you want to keep it.

This period covers SiteProof inspection data. Internal AI usage and cost records are retained separately from the 30-day inspection records. They contain a review identifier, provider and model identifiers, token usage, cost, and processing status so we can enforce spending limits and reconcile usage.

Stripe payment records, Netlify operational records, and any OpenAI processing records are managed separately by those providers. The 30-day SiteProof period does not promise deletion from their systems or zero retention by an AI provider.

Anyone with your private report link can view the inspection and screenshots, and can view the complete report once it is unlocked. Keep the link private. There is no account password protecting it.

Your browser saves the current report link for the browser session so you can reopen the inspection. Keep your own copy before leaving or closing the session.

Hosting and payment providers

Netlify hosts SiteProof and stores its inspection data. Stripe handles payment through its hosted checkout. SiteProof stores payment confirmation references to control report access and handle payment reversals; it does not collect or store card numbers.

Payment details are governed by Stripe’s privacy policy. Hosting records are covered by Netlify’s privacy policy.

AI review is currently off

The current technical inspection does not send page content to OpenAI. The following describes the separate AI review if it becomes available.

If AI review is enabled in a future release, SiteProof sends the public page URL, captured page copy, screenshots, measured technical findings, and related page evidence to OpenAI to review the captured page. The review may include a second pass that checks its findings against the same evidence. Your order email, billing details, and private report link are not included in those requests.

AI review interprets the captured copy and layout; it can make mistakes. It does not inspect every page of a website, verify business claims, or submit forms and purchases. Coverage and missing evidence are stated in the report.

OpenAI processing and retention are governed by the applicable provider terms and OpenAI’s privacy policy. Do not submit a public page containing information you are not authorized to share for inspection.

Support, refund questions, and deletion requests

Website Clean Up and Full Makeover include unlimited revisions to the agreed work. If we cannot satisfy you, we reserve the right to refund your service payment and end the engagement. The automated report is a separate purchase.

Use the Adam Designs contact form for SiteProof support or a request to delete inspection data. Include “SiteProof,” the email used for your order, and a description of the issue. For payment questions, you can include the receipt reference. Do not send card details.
